About Firecloud Adventures

In 2003, Firecloud Adventures was started with a single dream in mind:Looking for mom Baby Elephant by Paul Leong

When you experience Africa, it changes you.

In making it possible for people to experience Africa’s rich culture, beautiful landscapes and awe-inspiring wildlife, there’s actually the possibility to touch lives.

Sometimes that change is subtle. Like the emerging awareness of bird and animal calls when you have been sitting still in the bush a little while. At other times the change is dramatic and exhilarating. Like watching the sunrise from Uhuru peak, knowing you’ve just conquered Kilimanjaro – the tallest mountain in Africa.

For all it’s dark sides, all it’s harsh reputations, Africa is still a magnificently alluring destination. It is raw and wild. It is complex in cultures but is simple in outlook. Africa is beautiful! And Africa will change you.

This is what Firecloud Adventures as a company is about. The passion for Africa runs deep in the Firecloud team. We’re all born here and while we may have traveled the world, Africa is where our heart is. Africa is home.
