Located along the southern tip of Kenya overlooking Wasini island, Shimoni Reef Hotel is a perfect beach getaway. A beautiful setting, private chalets and a wonderful stretch of beach makes this an ideal honeymoon destination.

Rooms

There are only nine cottages and one suite with a strong focus on providing personalised service for guests. A tranquil atmosphere pervades, the cottages are designed so that they provide both privacy and a sense of freedom. All cottages overlook the ocean, and are a minute’s walk away from the beach, pool or veranda. Each room is equipped with double or twin beds, ensuite bathrooms with showers, hot & cold water, living rooms with couches, and an outdoor verandah to sit and read, relax and watch the sea and birdlife.

Facilities

The restaurant serves a combination of local and international cuisine and sundowners can be enjoyed on the deck overlooking the ocean. Other facilities include a pool and a water sports centre. The water sports centre offers: diving, snorkeling, kayaking, sailing, deep sea fishing, and dhow excursions. If you’d like to do some exploring on yoru own you can hire a boat or walk along the coastline.
