Description

Located on Benguerra Island, Marlin Lodge offers an elegant island beach getaway where you can do as much or as little as you choose. One of only a handful of lodges on the island, Marlin Lodge is built on wooden stilts amongst the dune vegetation and has a beautiful stretch of white sandy beachfront.

Rooms

The Private Luxury chalets are spacious and have a large private veranda. Stylishly decourated, each room has an en suite bathroom with shower, twin hand basins, a vanity area and an outside shower. The main room has a large four-poster bed with mosquito netting, an overhead fan and air-conditioning. A special feature of the luxury chalets is the private lounge and veranda with deck chairs, mini bar, two seating loungers, and a private walkway to the beach.

Even more spacious are the Executive suite. Specifically designed with the discerning traveler in mind, the suites are elegantly decourated with spacious en suite bathroom facilities. A king size four-poster bed is equipped with mosquito netting, and the room has a mini bar with coffee & tea making facilities, a lounge, a private veranda with deck chairs & hammock, and a private walkway to the beach.

Dining at Marlin Lodge is a unique experience. Whether on the beachfront, restaurant deck, or private veranda, your tastebuds will be treated to an array of superb Mozambican seafood dishes, flavoured with some traditional Portuguese or Asian influence. Enjoy sundowners each evening as you watch the sun set over the Mozambican channel. Marlin Lodge has a fully quipped watersports centre offering, diving, snorkelling, deep sea fishing and cruises. For those wanting some pampering the wellness spa offers a range of beauty treatments. There is a fresh water pool and pooldeck where you can relax and soak up the sun or take a leisurely stroll up the beach.
