Description

Located in the tidal estuary of Inhambane, Flamingo Bay is an exclusive luxury resort built on stilts over the water. The lodge is an ideal destination for honeymooners with it’s beautiful and romantic setting. The main reception building can be accessed from the land and is fronted by the tidal bay.

Rooms

The luxury chalets are set apart from the main reception area and connected by wooden walkways. Spacious and well appointed with stylish hardwood furniture each room has a private balcony with sliding doors and an en suite bathroom. The rooms are air-conditioned. Sunbathing, swimming, snorkelling and boating may be enjoyed directly from each room.

Facilities

The main reception building at Flamingo Bay has a lounge, coffee bar, restaurant, and cocktail bar adjacent to the pool deck. The restaurant serves a range of local and international cuisine and it’s speciality is seafood. A conference room seating up to 60 delegates is available. Flamingo Bay Resort is part of the Barra Group of lodges and guests at Flamingo Bay have access to Barra Lodge’s facilities. At Barra there is a swimming pool and activities room with games and satelite TV. There are a range of watersports activities including diving, snorkelling and fishing. Delicous seafood meals can be enjoyed in the restaurant and the beach bar is the perfect spot for sipping sundowners.
