Description

A beautiful lodge located on the Welbedacht Cliff Tops, the setting overlooks both the Knysna Lagoon and the Outeniqua mountains. The stone and wooden architecture give the lodge a wonderful natural feel.

Rooms

There are six suites and 1 family room in total. Four of the suites have magical views onto the Knysna lagoon from every corner of the room. The fifth suite while still enjoying lagoon views is embedded in indigenous "fynbos" surroundings attracting numerous bird species and giving that "hidden away" feeling. Enjoy a relaxing spa-bath while gazing into infinity. All the suites have double showers with views and are private. All suites have: ensuite bathrooms with under floor heating, air conditioning, double beds with 100% percale bedding, honesty bar and tea and coffee station, private deck with panoramic views, TV with mnet and movie channels, spacious dressing room and wireless internet access. The family suite is attached to the main lodge, and has a separate dressing room, large private deck overlooking the lagoon. The children's room has a sony play station/DVD player to keep the kids entertained.

Facilities

Breakfast is served in the dining area adjacent to the pool deck. There is a beautiful rim flow swimming pool which overlooks the lagoon. At the main lodge there is a lounge with a fire place, library and cd player. There are numerous activities that can be enjoyed in the area: forest walks, mountain biking, sailing cruises, visits to the Elephant Sanctuary or nearby game and nature reserves, or simply relaxing on the beach.
