Ras Kutani is located on a crescent of white sandy beach, and is flanked by a fresh water lagoon and a coastal forest. The setting gives a feeling of being on your own exclusive tropical island.

Rooms

There are twelve spacious standard cottages constructed of natural, local materials that blend in perfectly with the natural surroundings. Each cottage is tastefully appointed with ethnic Tanzanian furnishings and has its own en suite bathroom and large veranda with spectacular views of the turquoise ocean. The four new Upepo Suites are located at canopy level high up on the hill. The ultimate in relaxed comfort, the rooms are spacious and have magnificent sweeping views of the Indian Ocean. Set apart from the main lodge, each suite has its own private area with a verandah and plunge pool.

Facilities

Meals can be enjoyed at the hotel restaurant and the chefs are experts at preparing fresh seafood. While relaxation is the main objective at Ras Kutani, there is also a range of activities available for the more energetic guests. These include sailing, snorkeling, fishing, and nature walks.
