Sample Itinerary
Day 1:
Upon your evening arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport the guide will meet and collect you up from the airport and transfer you to Karama Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2-4:
After breakfast you will drive to the Kikoti Wilderness area where you will spend the next three nights in a lightweight wilderness safari camp. The days will be spent exploring the bush on foot under the watchful eye of experienced guides. Game viewing is superb in this area.
Day 5:
Departing from Kikoti transfer to the Manyara National Park where you can enjoy an afternoon of game viewing. Overnight at Migunga .
Day 6-8:
Transfer to the area near Old Lengai which is an active volcano. Here you will stay in a lightweight wilderness camp for the next three nights. The daily activities include climbing Old Lengai and walking with the Masai as they track the animal herds.
Day 9:
Transfer to Karatu and you have the afternoon at leisure to relax at Bouganvillea Lodge.
Day 10:
Experience a superb early morning game drive in the Ngorongoro crater. Famous for it’s large concentrations of game. Return to Bouganvillea Lodge for an overnight stay.
Day 11-13:
Transfer to the Tarangire National Park where you will spend your last three days game viewing and exploring the bush on foot.
Day 14:
Transfer to Arusha where you will have a day room at a local guesthouse. Transfer o the airport in time for your flight home. |
