Description
McBrides Camp is set in the north east section of the 1 million hectre Kafue National Park. With legendary game viewing, the camp is found in one of the last true wilderness areas of Kafue. Relax in the bushveld and experience a taste of Africa as it was many centuries ago.
Rooms
McBrides camp has seven thatched chalets each with an en-suite bathroom. Each chalet can accommodate two people. The chalets have mosquito nets and are comfortable appointed. Built almost entirely from natural material the chalets have a distinctly African feel about them. The large verandah provides an area for relaxation or watching the many species of birds and wildlife.
Facilities
The open dining room has a spectacular view over the Kafue River and can accommodate up to fifteen people. McBrides specialises in bush walking safaris and the guides have superb knowledge of the bush. Game drives and cruises on the river also offer spectacular game viewing opportunities. The fishing enthusiast can spend the afternoons on the river and try snag an infamous yellow-belly bream.
